Governor Bill Richardson today congratulated the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions on receiving $1.25 million in competitive grant funds through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

NMDWS Extended Benefits Application Now Available Online

(Albuquerque, NM) – The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions announced the Unemployment Insurance Extended Benefits application is now available online.

Labor Market News Released October 22, 2009

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 7.7 percent in September 2009, up from a revised 7.4 percent in August and 4.4 percent a year ago. The national unemployment rate increased a tenth of a point to 9.8 percent.

The New Mexico Workforce Connection system is now available with its new version that will provide many new features and friendly functionality for its users.
